The low-concentration slag remover is suitable for the purification of various fiber suspensions with a concentration of 0.4 to 1.2%. It can effectively remove light impurities, hot melts, small particles, heavy impurities, pulp residues, etc. in the pulp. It can also effectively remove foam plastic, Softwood dust, ink particles, and air also have a good effect on the slurry purification of the sizing flow system in front of the paper machine.
Because the removed impurities are small, not only the slurry concentration is low, the diameter of the slag remover is small, the pressure difference between the inlet and the outlet is also high, but also the slag discharge port is correspondingly reduced. Some use a pulper to continuously discharge slag, which is mostly used in the front and middle sections. Some slag traps are used for intermittent slag discharge, and backflushing water is used to reduce the loss of good fibers. This type of slag remover is mostly used as a final slag remover to reduce the slag discharge loss of the system.
The low-concentration slag remover is composed of a tangential slurry inlet, a good slurry outlet, an upper section of a cylindrical body inserted into an exhaust pipe, a middle section of a cone-shaped separation pipe, and a lower section of a nozzle or a slag discharge controller.
The low-concentration slag remover is a hydrocyclone. The slurry with a certain pressure is fed in from the inlet along the tangential direction. It performs high-speed vortex movement in a cylindrical conical separation tube; At the end of the cone, the heavy impurities in the slurry are thrown to the wall of the device and discharged from the lower nozzle or slag discharge controller. The good pulp gathers to the center of the separation tube to form the main pulp flow and is sent from the upper center good pulp port; Light impurities and air bubbles in the slurry are forced to enter the vortex motion center with the increase and decrease of the radial pressure of the slurry flow, and are discharged from the exhaust pipe inserted into the center of the good slurry port.
Compared with the general low-concentration slag remover, it has a longer separation section and a central exhaust pipe, which has a high removal efficiency and can also remove light impurities, hot melt and air from the slurry.
